Barwin Staying Busy On NFL Circuit

Rising University of Cincinnati defensive end Connor Barwin’s 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash and impressive pass-rushing skills are garnering serious interest from NFL teams, according to a league source.
Barwin has upcoming visits with the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars and St. Louis Rams.
He has an upcoming private workout with the Chiefs, and he’ll be attending the Cincinnati Bengals’ local prospects workout day.
Barwin is also in the process of setting up a private workout with the Atlanta Falcons.
Barwin has already completed private workouts with the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins and the Denver Broncos.
He also had an official team visit earlier this month with the Buffalo Bills.
Barwin, who could play outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, has played tight end in the past.

  1. You often forget to mention that he also played for the UC basketball team for 2 years because they were short-handed. He’s a hell of an athlete and an even better person.

  2. This guy was ultra-productive in his only season as a DE… with a little more experience and his motor and effort this guy could be a monster.
