Massive Boston College defensive tackle B.J. Raji, one of the top defensive linemen in the draft and a projected high first-round draft pick, has several upcoming visits, according to a league source.
The New Jersey native will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, and San Francisco 49ers prior to a local visit with the New York Jets. He has a subsequent visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The 6’2″, 337-pound defensive tackle ran the 40-yard dash in 5.12 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine, also registering a 32-inch vertical leap and bench pressing 225 pounds 33 times.
Raji missed the entire 2007 season due to academic reasons, but had a banner season last year.
