Bullock To Work Out For NFL Teams

A growing list of NFL teams have confirmed that they will attend Cleveland State basketball player J’Nathan Bullock’s workout, according to a league source.
On April 10, Bullock will try out at tight end for the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears and the Cleveland Browns.
The 6-foot-5, 245-pound basketball standout is a former honorable-mention all-state football player from Flint, Mich.
Bullock is hoping to follow in the footsteps of San Diego Chargers Pro Bowl tight end Antonio Gates, who played basketball at Kent State.
Bullock is the fourth all-time leading scorer in school history, averaging 15.4 points last season.
In high school, Bullock played every skill position as well as defensive end and linebacker.

  1. Great to hear
This guy has the talent to do exactly what Antonio Gates did.
Coming out of high school he had Offers from a few big ten schools and MAC schools to play DE or TE. But he choose to play basketball at Cleveland State. Whoever picks him up and getting a hard worker and a great athlete.

  2. i would say the only reason the Bucs are looking at him is to fill the roster spot about to be open by Alex Smith… he’s trade bait right now.

  3. J’Nathan and Antonio both had the same head coach….Gary Waters.
Bullock has the athleticism, strength and drive to make it, not to mention the size that is obviously there.

  4. None of these guys where as good as Tony Gonzales. Well Gate was awsome at Kent. But Gonz tore it up with Jason Kidd at Cal.
