Speedy Receiver To Visit Dolphins, Giants

Abilene Christian wide receiver and kick returner Johnny Knox is scheduled to visit the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants next week, according to a league source. Knox, who was clocked between 4.29 and 4.34 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine, has previously visited the Houston Texans. At the combine, the 6'0, 185-pounder also registered a 10-2 broad jump and a 35-inch vertical leap. In two seasons at Abilene Christian after transferring from a junior college, Knox caught 118 passes for 2,227 yards and 30 touchdowns and was twice named All-Lone Star Conference. He caught three passes for 55 yards and one touchdown in the Texas vs. The Nation all-star game.
