Raji Didn’t Test Positive

Well, SI.com perhaps will now officially retract its report regarding Boston College defensive tackle B.J. Raji. Per a league source, Raji’s name did not appear on the list of players who tested positive for marijuana at the Scouting Combine. Earlier this month, Tony Pauline of SI.com reported that Raji tested positive. After Raji and his agents denied it, SI.com pulled the story. But SI.com didn’t retract the report. Eventually, SI.com issued the following statement: “We have investigated the claims of Mr. Raji’s agent and although we have several credible sources for the report we have decided to take it down while we continue reporting the story.” Appearing on radio recently with Mike Dempsey of 1010XL in Jacksonville, Pauline declared: “I stand by what my sources told me.”
