Fins Re-Sign Will Allen

Cornerback Will Allen has signed a two-year extension with the Dolphins, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus. Per Rosenhaus, it’s a two-year deal. The contract includes $10 million in guarantees, and Allen will make $16.2 million over the next three seasons. Allen initially entered the league as a first-round pick of the Giants in 2001. He joined the Dolphins in 2006, starting all but one game over the last three seasons. [Editor’s note: The prior version of this article characterized the contract as a two-year, $16 million deal. We apologize for the error.]
