Rodney Harrison Heading To NBC

Veteran safety Rodney Harrison has decided to hang up the cleats and take a job with NBC, according to Christopher L. Gasper of the Boston Globe. Harrison worked with NBC as part of its Super Bowl XLIII coverage. Speculation had been intensifying lately that Harrison would be making the move. Harrison spent nine seasons with the Chargers and six with the Patriots. So the next question is whether Harrison should land in the Hall of Fame after the requisite five-year waiting period. Working against him? A reputation (not necessarily fully deserved) of being a dirty player, and a four-game suspension in 2007 for possession of HGH. So what say you PFT Planet? Make your case for or against a bronze bust bearing Harrison’s likeness in the comments.
