We’ve gotten more than 50 but fewer than 100 e-mails over the past 24 hours from folks suggesting that quarterback Brett Favre has purchased a home in Minnesota. We don’t know where it all originated, but it’s being repeated on radio, Internet, etc. The home supposedly is in the exclusive “Bearpath” subdivision in Eden Prarie, the city in which the Vikings’ headquarters are located. We’ve got no idea whether it’s true. But we need to mention it in the hopes of reducing, if only by a few, the e-mails we get on the issue.
