Texans strike deal with Quin

Texans fourth-round cornerback Glover Quin has agreed to terms on a four-year rookie contract, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Per the report, Quin, who played at New Mexico, will officially sign the deal on Friday.

No terms were disclosed.

A three-year starter, Quin intercepted five passes and recorded 53 tackles last season.

During three seasons at New Mexico, the former junior college transfer intercepted seven passes, knocked down 31 passes and registered 156 tackles.

With Quin about to finalize his deal, that leaves four remaining unsigned draft picks for the Texans.

That includes first-round linebacker Brian Cushing as well as second-round defensive end Connor Barwin, third-round center Antoine Caldwell and fifth-round tight end James Casey.
