Drew Bennett to work out for Ravens

Veteran wide receiver Drew Bennett is going to try out for the Baltimore Ravens on Friday, according to Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper.

The Ravens are bringing in four wide receivers for the tryout, including Bennett and D.J. Hackett.

Bennett, who was playing under a $30 million contract signed two years ago, was cut by the St. Louis Rams during the offseason after being plagued with foot problems last season when he caught just one pass.

Per the report, Bennett has visited several teams this offseason. That includes the Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns and the Atlanta Falcons.

Bennett is believed to be recovered from his injuries.

During an eight-year career with six of them spent in Tennessee, Bennett has caught 307 passes for 4,412 yards and 28 touchdowns.
