Falcons bring in Marty Booker

On the same day that the Falcons signed veteran wideout Robert Ferguson, who caught three passes in 2008, they added a guy who caught a few more passes last season.

Um, eleven more.

Marty Booker appeared in 13 games for the Bears, catching 14 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns.

And he’s now a Falcon.

Roddy White likely is unfazed.

The team also placed receiver Harry Douglas on injured reserve. The Falcons also cut waived rookie Brandon Godfrey.
