Cleo gets a chance in Baltimore

With one of the quarterbacks who contributed to Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron’s 1-15 season in Miami injured, the guy who led the Fins to their only win that year could be getting a shot.

Per Aaron Wilson, who covers the Baltimore beat for the Carroll County Times and whose name might be familiar in these parts, reports that Cleo Lemon worked out for the Ravens after practice on Saturday.

John Beck, the Dolphins’ second-round pick in 2007, suffered a shoulder injury on Thursday night against the Redskins after throwing what ended up being a 64-yard completion to receiver Jayson Foster.

Per Wilson, an MRI revealed no tear in Beck’s shoulder, but he’s out for now.

The Ravens inked Drew Willy to handle practice on Saturday, but Lemon could be added to the team.

Two weeks ago, Lemon got a workout in New England. The Patriots ultimately signed Andrew Walter.
