We heard conflicting accounts on Saturday regarding whether Ravens quarterback John Beck has a broken collarbone.
One source said he did, one source said he didn’t.
Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times saw Beck handing in his hotel key at the Best Western (a double oxymoron) in Westminster, Maryland. The sudden flirtation with Cleo Lemon (who worked out and passed a physical) suggested that, indeed, Beck was soon to be gone.
But Beck is back on the practice field today.
But Lemon has been signed, too, according to agent J.R. Rickert’s Twitter page.
So we don’t know what the hell is going on, especially since Wilson tells us that Drew Willy is still on the team, giving Baltimore a Grudenesque five quarterbacks under contract.
