Bucs’ Crowell could miss season

The Buccaneers handed linebacker Angelo Crowell a $1 million signing bonus this offseason, but not get anything to show for it.

Crowell left Saturday’s game with an arm injury, and Bucs coach Raheem Morris confirmed that the injury could be season-ending.

Crowell has struggled with injuries since he’s signed, and was already looking like a poor signing. Morris said last week Crowell faced an “uphill battle” to make the team because of his injuries.

Now the team could be on the hook for his $2 million salary if he’s placed on injured reserve.
