Welcome back, Javon Walker

More than four months removed from a mysterious foreign surgery, Javon Walker finally returned to Raiders practice Monday.

Walker claims this surgery, performed in a location he’s “clueless” about, will help many athletes in the future. Fixing Walker’s career would be the best advertisement possible.

Walker hasn’t looked like his old, explosive self since re-injuring his knee early in the 2007 season while playing with Denver.

The Raiders would love some help for their inexperienced wideout group. With Chaz Schilens hurt, the team started rookies Louis Murphy and Darrius Heyward-Bey in their second preseason game.
