Quinn report from T.O. confirmed

As it turns out, T.O. was right.

The mercurial Bills wideout, who spent part of the day trashing his team’s no-huddle offense, disclosed on his Twitter page the fact that Brady Quinn will be the starting quarterback of the Browns, at least for Week One.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer confirms that, indeed, the job is Quinn’s.

Quinn took the reps with the first-team during practice on Wednesday and the quarterbacks learned of the decision on Tuesday night. So, despite coach Eric Mangini’s stated desire to keep the decision a secret in the hopes of confounding the Vikings, someone has blabbed.

That’s what he gets for dragging the rookies to Connecticut by bus this summer on a “voluntary” basis to work a youth football camp.
