Ravens-Chargers one-liners

Ravens LB Ray Lewis called the tackle that clinched Baltimore’s 31-26 win over San Diego “one of the greatest plays” of his Hall of Fame career.

According to Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun, WR Demetrius Williams is in the Ravens coaching staff’s doghouse due to poor work ethic.

The Ravens are using RB Le’Ron McClain as almost strictly a lead blocker after he led the team with 10 touchdowns in 2008.

Ravens S Dawan Landry’s third-quarter interception Sunday was his first since 2006.

Chargers fans booed their team heavily entering the locker room at halftime, with San Diego in a 21-16 hole.

The Bolts’ five passing plays of 25 yards Sunday were their most as a franchise in 12 years.

San Diego struggled badly at the point of attack against Baltimore and risks being leaky against the run without NT Jamal Williams (triceps, injured reserve).

The Chargers were also inefficient in the red zone, settling for four field goals when they had the ball inside Baltimore’s 10-yard line Sunday.
