Flozell out $12,500 for tripping Tuck

Ten years ago, Cowboys tackle Flozell “the Hotel” Adams thought that the league went too light on former Vikings defensive end Duane Clemons for punching Adams in the “Motel 6.”

Adams thought the $7,500 fine was “ludicrous.”

We wonder what Adams thinks of the $12,500 fine that has been imposed on him for tripping Giants defensive end Justin Tuck on Sunday night.

Per Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News, Adams has been slapped with that specific penalty by the league. It’s the second fine imposed on Adams in two weeks of the 2009 regular season.

Tuck reportedly could miss a game or two because of a shoulder injury that he suffered while tumbling to the ground after being tripped by Adams.
