Raiders game blacked out

One item that wasn’t mentioned in the last rambling Raiders post: local fans won’t get to watch Michael Huff’s re-introduction to the starting lineup.

The Raiders were able to avoid a blackout for their home opener after receiving an extension, but were not able to sell enough tickets this time around.

Oakland hosts Denver in a game they could really use if they have designs on winning the division. If they lose, they will be two games behind Denver and already have two home losses in the division.

I picked Oakland to win in Kansas City last week (one of the few I got right), and I’m sticking with the Raiders this time around. Their running game and secondary should be enough in a game that doesn’t figure to feature a lot of scoring.

One bonus prediction that wasn’t in the PFT picks: JaMarcus Russell’s completion percentage will climb from 35 percent. See, Raider Nation. We love you!
