One-for-two trade makes for a nervous morning in Cleveland

The Browns have not yet officially announced the trade of receiver Braylon Edwards to the Jets.

The reason? They’re getting two players from the Jets in exchange for Edwards.

And this means that the Browns need to make another roster move.

And this means that someone probably will be getting cut. (The only other alternative would be to place a player on injured reserve.)

So stay tuned. Someone will possibly be getting fired in Cleveland today. And, frankly, given the way things have been going, we’re wondering whether it’s an appropriate occasion for the cork-popping sound effect that ESPN’s Chris Berman has been using lately.
