Mysterious absence coming for Joselio Hanson

On the same day that the Eagles lost cornerback Ellis Hobbs for the rest of the season, a report has surfaced that cornerback Joselio Hanson could be gone for roughly a month.

Per, Hanson will be out for unspecified reasons.

“I’m just going to say that the NFL don’t treat players the same,” Hanson told Geoff Mosher of via text message.

Bottom line?  It looks like a four-game suspension under the substance-abuse policy or the policy regarding anabolic steroids and related substances.

  2. I bet someone was hitting the ganja man! Suck it up Hanson, its all good the Eagles are going to miss the playoffs anyway.

  3. Of course the NFL substance abuse policy does not apply to the Minnesota Vikings. In fact, it does not apply to anyone who is caught violating the policy at the same time that a Minnesota Viking is caught. The only part that is unclear is if it was still prior to the trade deadline, would a suspended player who is traded to the Vikings be able to play immediately (i.e., is the suspension cancelled when he becomes a Viking)?
