Bills-Titans one-liners

Bills WR Terrell Owens gave his jersey to Titans RB Chris Johnson after the 41-17 Titans victory.

After the game, Bills coach Dick Jauron admitted he pulled QB Trent Edwards because of how he was playing and not to protect him from injury.

The Bills aren’t feeling optimistic about having T Demetrius Bell back in the lineup anytime soon after he suffered a knee injury on Sunday.

Bills rookie S Jairus Byrd picked off his eighth pass of the season and became the first NFL player with interceptions in five straight games since 2005.

RB Fred Jackson threw a 27-yard touchdown pass, the longest by a Bills non-quarterback since 1969.

Titans QB Vince Young threw his first interception since regaining the starting job, but shook it off to finish 17 of 25 for 210 yards and a touchdown.

Young also threw a key block to spring Johnson for a Titans first down.

The Titans defense scored a pair of touchdowns on interceptions and sacked Edwards twice.

Said Titans LB Keith Bulluck, “We’re real opportunistic right now. The beginning of the year, we
weren’t getting these breaks and the ball wasn’t falling our way. You
know, we’ll take it.”

Titans K Rob Bironas nailed a 51-yard field goal to make the score 27-17 after the Bills declined a holding penalty in the fourth quarter.
