Cowboys-Packers one-liners

Cowboys LB Keith Brooking called the 17-7 loss to the Packers a “minor hiccup.”

Said Cowboys WR Patrick Crayton, “Sometimes, I wish we dictated to defenses, not let defenses dictate what we do.”

WR Roy Williams had his first 100-yard game with the Cowboys and scored a touchdown, but a fumble and a crucial drop overshadowed his positives.

While neither one is believed to be as serious as T Marc Colombo’s broken leg, Cowboys CB Mike Jenkins and S Ken Hamlin also left the game with injuries.

Cowboys RB Marion Barber ran four times for 27 yards in the first quarter, but only got one other carry for the rest of the game.

Said Packers LB Nick Barnett, “Did we save our season? I think we saved our (butt) this game. For now. We have to keep that going.”

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers didn’t have amazing stats, but coach Mike McCarthy was full of praise for the way he played.

The Packers defense sacked Cowboys QB Tony Romo five times and allowed only 61 yards on the ground.

Packers TE Spencer Havner caught a two-yard touchdown, and now has four scores on his seven catches this season.

The Packers were penalized 12 times for 100 yards.
