It was a nice story when Mike McKenzie and Chris McAlister were signed “off the street” and put into the lineup for the Saints in their Monday night victory over the Patriots.
Now half the story is over. (And McAlister is free to spend more time on Bourbon Street.)
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Saints released McAlister Tuesday and signed former Vikings cornerback Marcus McCauley.
