Eagles send Jamal Jackson to injured reserve

As expected, the Philadelphia Eagles have sent center Jamal Jackson to injured reserve, due to a torn ACL suffered in Sunday’s win over the Broncos.

To take his place on the roster, the Eagles have promoted center Dallas Reynolds from the practice squad. Safety Brandon Harrison has been signed to the practice squad in place of Reynolds.

At a time when plenty of Eagles’ offensive linemen have been injured, Jackson provided a high degree of consistency, starting every game since Week 10 of the 2005 season.
