Plenty of Patriots tickets available too

The Cardinals aren’t the only team struggling to sell all their playoff tickets.

Okay, “struggling” may be overstating things. But there are plenty of good seats available for New England’s home game against the Ravens Sunday.

The Patriots tweeted last night that 100 tickets would be available at 10AM ET. Either their number was low or they can’t come close to selling 100 playoff tickets in three and a half hours.

We’re guessing the former based on how many seats still appear available.

A quick search on Ticketmaster shows you can still get four seats together in the lower, mezzanine, and upper sections of Gillette Stadium. Only club seats are sold out.

The tickets will sell, but this is a sign of their place in the Boston market. The Red Sox can sell out an April game against the Orioles in hours in the middle of December. Emails are forwarded describing for the best way to keep 20 ticketmaster windows open at once to get said Red Sox tickets tickets. (Yes, I’ve received said emails.)

Meanwhile, the Patriots have plenty of great (and expensive) seats available four days before a home playoff game. It makes you wonder what will happen when Bill Belichick and Tom Brady ride off into the sunset some day.
