Seau says he’s played his last game

There will be no graduation this time, but Junior Seau says he’s retiring. For, this time.

Speaking on Inside the NFL, Seau said, “I’m going to go surf. Yeah Warren [Sapp], I’m not going to give you another speech. . . . “Yeah, that’s going to be my last game.”

Seau has played for the Patriots the last four seasons; he’s joined mid-season as an injury replacement the last two.

The announcement is notable because Seau has always left the door open to returning since his famous graduation speech back in 2006.

All of the comebacks gives Seau an outside chance at entering the Hall of Fame in the same year as a certain dancing former teammate.
