The Bears’ winding search for an offensive coordinator won’t end with Rob Chudzinski.
Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune writes that Chudzinski, the Chargers tight ends/assistant head coach, won’t land in Chicago. It’s unclear if “Chud” is getting interest elsewhere or whether he’ll simply return to San Diego.
Jeremy Bates and Chan Gailey were mentioned as possibilities for the Bears gig, but took jobs elsewhere. The Packers rejected Chicago’s offer to interview quarterbacks coach Tom Clements. Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese has interviewed for the position.
