Peterson promises to work on fumbles

We’ve enjoyed NFL Network’s coverage of the Pro Bowl all week, but Michael Irvin dropped the ball Thursday when he failed to ask Adrian Peterson about his fumbling problems during an interview.

Luckily, there are other media in Miami to ask Peterson about his costly habit.

“There’s like a rap sheet that’s out there now,” Peterson said to the Chicago Sun-Times. “Guys would rather hit the ball than tackle me. I put it on myself. That comes with the way I run. It’s something I’m going to focus on, as far as switch it up a little bit, and carry it higher, or what not. But there’s some things I’m going to correct.”

We watched the NFC Championship again last night and were amazed that Peterson could have fumbled a few more times. (The ball was jostled on his last touchdown and other carries.)

The book is out on Peterson, and it’s up to him to make corrections fast.
