Bears target Shane Day to coach QBs

Brad Biggs of the National Football Post reports that the Bears have interviewed Shane Day for their quarterbacks coach opening.

Day is reportedly new offensive coordinator Mike Martz’s handpicked first choice.  Day was an offensive quality control coach on San Francisco’s staff during Martz’s two seasons there.  Day also has history with new Bears tight ends coach Mike DeBord.
Assuming the Bears hire Day, their only remaining vacancy will be at defensive coordinator.

  1. The Panda’s of the Midway need alot on defense than just a coach. Let’s start with 11 new players.

  2. Just put next years Lombardi Trophy in the mail and deliver to Halas Hall. Let me be the first to say it. In 2010 the Bears could have the “greatest offense ever.” And for all the morons who are already calling me a moron, I’m being sarcastic.

  3. Well, 10 really. We’ll keep Briggs. Tommy and urlacher can stay with a reduction of half their salary.
