Brees doesn’t get a Cadillac, does go to Disney World

Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Drew Brees will shout, “I’m going to Disney World,” in a TV commercial, and he’ll be at Disney World today.

But while he will be getting that customary perk for the Super Bowl MVP, he won’t be getting another. Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com reports that Super Bowl MVPs no longer get a Cadillac.

For much of Super Bowl history, the MVP has received his choice of Cadillacs. But the auto industry bailout led to car companies taking on a lower profile, and Cadillac dropping out of MVP sponsorship is just one example of that.

Disney World, however, is still a go: Brees is scheduled for a ticker-tape parade there today.
