Browns want to use Cribbs more

As the Cleveland Browns prepare to “pay the man,” they’re also reportedly planning to “use the man.”

Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns hope to increase the number of offensive snaps in which receiver Josh Cribbs participates from 40 percent to 50 percent.

He’d be used both at receiver and Wildcat running back, with the overriding goal of forcing defenses to account for him even if he doesn’t get the ball.

But first he has to get the money, and if the Browns plan to use him more they need to be ready to pay him accordingly.
