Clemson running back C.J. Spiller, regarded as one of the top prospects at his position in the 2010 draft pool, will be running the 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine on Sunday, as we recently reported.
But Mike Mayock of NFL Network recently said that Spiller will only run, and that he’ll participate in none of the other events of the Underwear Olympics, presented by UnderArmour.
Spiller will perform the other non-football football drills at his Pro Day workout.
Vague reference was made to a toe injury, but it’s apparently not bad enough to keep Spiller from showing how quickly he can get from the goal line to the 40.
