Watching the Colts in person is about to get more expensive for fans in Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Star reports that the Colts have increased prices in all nine ticket levels at Lucas Oil Stadium. The amount of the increases will depend on where in the stadium the seats are and, in some cases, the length of a season-ticket holder’s contract. But everyone’s prices are going up.
According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, the Colts will see an increase in total ticket revenue of between $3.4 million and $4.4 million for the 2010 season, depending on whether they host zero, one or two playoff games.
But while fans may not be thrilled to pay more money for next year’s tickets, the Colts won’t have any trouble selling out their games. In the two seasons since opening Lucas Oil Stadium they’ve sold out every home game easily, and they have a 16,000-person waiting list for season tickets.
