Ryan Tucker announces his retirement

After 12 seasons and one Super Bowl title, Browns offensive lineman Ryan Tucker officially announced his retirement Thursday.

The former Ram played his last seven seasons with the Browns, but missed all of 2009 with a knee injury.

“We notified the league and we are notifying the Cleveland Browns family
that I’m shutting it down,” Tucker said on 850 AM Saturday.  Only Phil Dawson has been with the team longer.

Ryan is the older brother of former NFL lineman Rex Tucker, but has no relation to multimedia maven Ross Tucker.  We think.
