Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had been scheduled to appear from March 29 to April 4 at the Kraft Nabisco Championship Celebrity Pro-Am (Fun Run Race For The Cure) in Rancho Mirage, California.
Now? He’s not.
TMZ reports that Roethlisberger has withdrawn from the event, as part of the ultra-low profile he has adopted following a night of barhopping in a devil shirt that landed him in a hell of a lot of trouble.
It makes sense for Ben to stay away. He’d be hounded by media and fans if he were to make an appearance.
Look for him to generally stay out of sight until a decision is made on whether he’ll be charged with sexual assault in Georgia.
