Sam Bradford wasn’t the only draft prospect coming off an injury that had a crucial pro day recently.

Arizona tight end Rob Gronkowski worked out for scouts Saturday, finally showing that his back is recovered. The potential first-rounder missed all of last season with a back injury and didn’t run drills at the Scouting Combine.

Gronkowski, who looked especially imposing when we saw him at the combine, ran the forty in 4.65 seconds with the wind and 4.73 seconds against the wind according to NFL.com. His other workout numbers were strong.

Teams may see Gronkowski as the most complete tight end in the draft. Oklahoma’s Jermaine Gresham is generally expected to be the first player draft at the position, but Gronkowski’s workout could give him a chance at pulling off an upset.
