Tye Hill has options

A few days after meeting with the Titans, cornerback Tye Hill visited the Vikings Monday.

Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports Hill is expected to make a decision on his 2010 team Tuesday.

The Vikings re-signed Benny Sapp this offseason, but they still want more depth with Cedric Griffin coming off a torn ACL. Minnesota signed defensive end Michael Montgomery Monday.

  1. LMAO. Options. He’s going to try and play each team off each other for an extra $20,000 and take the highest bid. He’s backup material only at the very best.

  2. Tye Hill is a fast former first round pick. Legitimately shocked the Raiders haven’t kicked his tires, given their lack of CB depth.

  3. It’s not like he’s taking Griffs or Winfields spot unless they are injured.
Bun, this is why the original post said the Vikes were looking for DEPTH.

  4. if he signs with the vikings, it is a very strong signing. the risk reward factor is the important part.
Leslie Frazier is very good at developing defensive backs
(cedric griffin [benny sapp is a nice nickel back] since coming to mn.
Antoine Bethea, Kelvin Hayden and Marlin Jackson all learned from his coaching.
Hill could be a nice corner to have for depth as a dimeback if there is an injury.

  5. Sapp and Paymah were awful before playing on the Vikes and they did okay last year. Maybe Hill is our new Paymah. Or maybe they just need some fresh bodies to squirt around practice and cut later.

  6. He should sign with the Vikings, he sucks, doesn’t have any upside potential and his best years are hehind him. The only thing he is missing is that he isn’t an ex Packer, then for sure the Biqueens would sign his loser ass.

  7. Jimmy, I’m curious about something. When you have diarea of the mouth do you stick the pepto up your ass?

  8. Lol…haha jimmy jimmy jimmy….you never fail to make yourself look like a jackass on a minute to minute basis. seriously..lol get a fkin CLUE
