Dez Bryant will visit the Broncos

On the same day that the Denver Broncos laid the foundation for a possible trade of troubled receiver Brandon Marshall, word has emerged that they plan to visit with another troubled receiver in advance of the draft.

Per Josina Anderson of FOX 31, Dez Bryant is due to visit the team on Wednesday.

Peter King of SI.com recently reports that Bryant will visit the Rams, 49ers, and Broncos this week. On Tuesday, Bryant was in St. Louis, which could potentially pick Bryant if they trade out of the top spot.

The Broncos hold the 11th overall pick in the draft. Though at some point there was a belief that Bryant’s admitted lie to the NCAA and reports of tardiness could cause him to plunge to the bottom of round one or farther, he’s making a late push up, buoyed by a recognition by an increasing number of scouts that he has never gotten in trouble with the law despite a difficult upbringing.

At the same time, teams like the Browns at No. 7 and the Jaguars at No. 10 reportedly have removed Bryant from their draft boards.
