Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz reiterated Tuesday that he wants tight end Greg Olsen to focus on his blocking.
Fred Mitchell of the Chicago Tribune reports that Martz said Olsen “needs to get grounded in blocking,” but he added that he doesn’t necessarily agree with those who think Olsen isn’t a good fit for Martz’s offense.
“If there is a player who can’t fit a system, then there is a problem -- if he is a good player -- with the system,” Martz said. “Our deal is that we will give everybody an opportunity to find who they are and how they will contribute.”
Martz added that he’s “not disappointed in any respect” with what Olsen has done so far in offseason workouts.
