Eagles climb up to get Brandon Graham

It was rumored that the Eagles were looking to trade up to get safety Eric Berry or safety Earl Thomas. They ultimately made a move, with Thomas on the clock.

And they didn’t take him.

Instead, the 13th overall pick is defensive end Brandon Graham from Michigan.

Philly reportedly gave up two third-round picks (and presumably their first-round pick) to make the jump.

Per Sal Paolantonio of ESPN, the Eagles did not want to give up the “Donovan pick” -- the high second-rounder obtained in the trade with the Redskins.
