Ravens minicamp one-liners

Says new WR Anquan Boldin, “Everybody has those first-day jitters. For myself, I’m just trying to get out here and get familiar with my surroundings. Right now, we’re just getting into it, just to get a feel for everybody with the offense. I think the day went pretty good, considering it’s the first day.”

Said OT Michael Oher of his move to the blind side, “It’s kind of like telling a basketball player who’s right-handed to play left-handed.”

Asked about his chances of being with the Ravens when the regular season starts, OT Jared Gaither said, “Right now, it’s 100 percent. I don’t know anything different.”

Said coach John Harbaugh of S Ed Reed’s decision to have surgery, “I think he understands his body better than anybody, and he’s been driving this.”

Undrafted rookie Mike McLaughlin played linebacker in college but says he’s willing to put in the work to make the Ravens as a fullback.

Said WR Mark Clayton of his shoulder surgery, “It was just a scope to clean it out. I’ll be back soon.”

LB Ray Lewis has been doing some martial arts conditioning this offseason but adds, “I’m not fitting to go into mixed martial arts. I don’t like getting hit in the face and all that.”

WR Donte’ Stallworth looked quick and smooth running routes.
