As the football-watching world awaits the apparently inevitable selection of New York/New Jersey as the location of the February 2014 Super Bowl, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello has said on his Twitter account that the final presentations have begun.
Each of the three finalists have 15 minutes, and New York leads off. Tampa Bay and South Florida apparently shouldn’t bother.
The move widely is believed to be a fait accompli, with New York expected to get the nod.
The folks in New York are sufficiently confident that NFL Network’s Super Bowl selection show will be streaming on the Giants’ website -- and not on the websites of the Buccaneers or the Dolphins.
Curiously, the event isn’t streaming on the Jets’ website, either. Maybe they lost the coin flip.
