Darnell Dockett calls out Albert Haynesworth

Though it remains to be seen whether any of Albert Haynesworth’s Redskins teammates will speak out on the record regarding their reluctant teammate, a player from another team has made his opinion on the matter clear.

Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett, who has (when not showering for an Internet camera) been trying to get a big-money deal, ripped Haynesworth on Twitter after hearing that he wants out of Washington only a year after signing a seven-year, $100 million deal (which as a practical matter has a value of $48 million over four).

“That’s why I tell y’all I’m nothing like these dudes, for a 100 million my ass will play 4-3, 3-4, 5-9, 4-8, and still whip ass!” Dockett declared. (Actually, we’ve heard that Vikings coach Brad Childress has been experimenting with the 4-8 alignment. On offense.)

Dockett later posted a link to Mike Sando’s blurb acknowledging Dockett’s anger, declaring “I swore to tell nothing but the truth!

As Sando also points out, the $21 million balloon payment Haynesworth received from the Redskins in April exceeds Dockett’s entire compensation from 2006 through 2010.

We hope more guys continue to tell the truth regarding Haynesworth, including a few of them who play for the Redskins.
