Fins sign fourth-rounder

The process of getting third-day rookie draft picks under contract is proceeding, slowly but surely.

Most recently, the Dolphins have announced that fourth-round linebacker A.J. Edds has agreed to terms.

The four-year letterman and three-year starter from Iowa became the 119th overall pick in the draft when Miami V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells traded up with his old team, the Cowboys.

Thus, we’re assuming that Edds is neither a thug nor a hoodlum. Then again, the Tuna apparently applies a definition other than the one they’d provide at a spelling bee.
