Rookie wideout Mardy Gilyard has agreed to terms with the St. Louis Rams, his agents have announced via Twitter.
It’s a four-year deal, per Andy Simms and David Lee.
Aaron Wilson reports via Twitter that the deal for the first pick in round four has a total value of $2.34 million over four years.
With Rams cornerback Jerome Murphy, the top pick in round three, receiving a four-year deal worth $2.72 million, the two contracts reveal a full-round spread of $380,000 in contract value.
The development continues a recent blitz by the Rams to get rookies under contract. On Saturday, a total of four players were signed.
Of course, the most important Rams draft pick in years if not decades -- quarterback Sam Bradford -- remains without a rookie deal.
