Jeremy Green a cocaine user who had child porn, prosecutor says

Jeremy Green possessed more than 50 images or depictions of child pornography and admitted that he is a cocaine user, according to police and prosecutors.

The Bristol Press reports that Green, an ESPN analyst, former Browns director of pro personnel and son of former NFL coach Dennis Green, was in court Friday and heard a prosecutor describe the case authorities have against Green as “a very serious case, and in my opinion a good case.”

Green is charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, and the prosecutor says Green admitted to police he was a “cocaine user.” The prosecutor also charged Green with first-degree possession of child pornography, and the Bristol Press reports that in Connecticut, an individual must possess more than 50 depictions or images to be charged with first-degree possession of child pornography.

Police arrested Green Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express in Southington, near ESPN’s headquarters. Green has worked for ESPN for five years.
