Bucs sign Brian Price

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they’ve signed second-round draft pick Brian Price.

Price, who was selected 35th overall in the 2010 draft, is the highest-drafted player under contract in the league.

I’m glad my agent got the deal done, so now I can concentrate on having a great training camp,” Price said in the team’s announcement. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the Buccaneers’ dominant defensive tradition.”

A defensive tackle out of UCLA, Price is likely to start alongside fellow rookie defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who was selected in the first round, No. 3 overall.

  1. Good job Buccaneers.
It is nice to see the Buccaneers providing a little leadership for the league.

  2. Odds are Price and McCoy will be the best D tackle combo in the NFL eventually.

  3. good at dt,lb,db now if we only had a stud de to play along side white so he could get free to make plays… solid d I just wish we had more at de its not saying much when white is your #1 option on the pass rush with no one else to contend with on the other side

  4. Cover2, it’ll take 3 good drafts to clean up the mess that GruAllen left.
Next yr, we get our DE/RB… and then we’ll be ready to make some noise.
