Two teams turn out for Chester Pitts workout

Only two teams showed up today to watch free agent guard Chester Pitts work out in Arizona, but his agent says more teams are interested.

Agent Andrew Kessler tells Jason La Canfora of NFL Network that Pitts has visits scheduled with two other teams next week. Kessler declined to name the teams.

La Canfora reports that Pitts has drawn interest from the Eagles, but Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported prior to Pitts’ workout that the Eagles wouldn’t be there. Previous reports that the Vikings were interested in Pitts apparently were not correct. Teams that may be interested in Pitts include the Seahawks, Lions, and 49ers.

Pitts played for the Texans from 2002 to 2009 and started the first 114 games of his NFL career before suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week Two last season.

  1. can someone tell me how to use HTML tags please? List them and tell me what each does please!!!

  2. Apparently one team was from Dusseldorf, Germany, the other a Canadian team who didn’t wish to be named.

  3. I wonder why the Redskins aren’t mentioned. The OC (Kyle Shanahan) was with the Texans, and they are short a guard with Mike Williams out with heart issues.

  4. Eagles better grab him asap. Need depth at guard bad!! Stacey Andrews is unproven and Herrimans has a nagging foot injury.

  5. C’mon Lions! I say go grab him… on the other hand, if Mayhew doesn’t see enough in him or doesn’t find him worth the price that’s fine too. To this point I really trust Mayhew’s judgement.
Hell, after Millen I’d trust a Magic 8 ball to do the work.
    Gooooooooooooooooo Lions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
