Though it may be a while until the Lions strike a deal with the second overall pick in the draft, they’ve wrapped up negotiations with their second first-rounder.
Per a league source, the Lions have agreed to terms with running back Jahvid Best.
It’s a five-year, $9.8 million deal.
Detroit traded up to the bottom of round one with the division-rival Vikings to get Best with the 30th overall selection in the draft.
